The West Australian Country Music Awards are unique and are held in conjunction with the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and just keep on going from strength to strength.  2008 will be the 23rd Country Music Awards for Western Australia and has certainly brought about some big name artists over that time.

Entries come in from all over the state and are open to professional and amateur artists. Entrants are required to send in a package of one CD, a quality photograph and a musical biography. Songwriters must include the lyrics to their chosen songs.

The West Australian Country Music Awards will be staged during the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival 17th-19th February, 2008, where the top three contestants in each category will perform in front of an audience including a high profile industry judging panel and other leading industry talent scouts.

The biggest reward for finalists and winners is, knowing that people love their music and it reaches all walks of life.
