Connie Kis Andersen’s award the; ‘Go for 2 & 5’ 2011 West Australian Best Female Country Music Artist, along with previous awards has secured her reputation as a true stylist and as one of the finest independent singer-songwriters from W.A.
Her professional work ethic and tour schedule has found Connie Kis appearing at all of Australia's major country music festivals with her music aired on country music radio across Australia. Many of her self-penned songs have enjoyed national chart success, including two recent top 5 hits on the Australian Country Tracks Top 30 for STEAMY DREAMS and A MAN IN BOOTS - both from her current album CONNIE KIS.
Overseas, she has represented Australia on several occasions, the most notable being the; Sounds Australia Showcase at the Americana Music Conference in Nashville along with Tommy Emmanuel, Troy Cassar-Daley and Sara Storer. Connie Kis is also the current host of the ‘Australian Showcase’ radio program, broadcast four times weekly on Country Music Radio Nashville.
Connie Kis has served as a past president of WAM, General Manager of KULCHA, and currently sits on the WA Department of Culture and the Arts' Contemporary Music Panel.
