Volunteer

The 2009 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is going to be bigger and better than ever before, so we would love your help to pull it off. So if you can spare us an hour, a day, a week or a month, we're happy to hear from you.

Volunteers can be involved in many areas of the organisation such as Festival Management, Production, Front of House, Marketing and Publicity, Public Relations, Distribution and Event Management.

The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and the WA Country Music Awards only happen because of dedicated volunteers. They erect fences, put up marquees, stage manage, run the power cables, serve drinks, sell tickets, you name it! Volunteers have turned a beautiful bush area into a Festival park, and give so much to so many. Volunteers are still needed to make the four day event happen every year. They help with security, car parking, litter at the Music Park, and many, many other jobs. The Boyup Brook Country Music Club committee are ALL volunteers too, and they are proving that a small group of people CAN bring sensational entertainment to the masses in a small bush town. Share their ambition and their passion, and offer your skills and time. Don't delay - join the team of volunteers today. You won't regret it!

The Boyup Brook Country Music Club provides a supportive and totally fun environment where you can work alongside industry professionals and gain valuable experience along the way!

All year Volunteering at the Music Park

Although the Country Music Club is steering the development of the Music Park in Boyup Brook the park development is for the whole community, and so we need members of the community who would like to take an active interest in developing a range of activities and events in the new Music Park this year, and for years to come, to contact us.

The development of the Music Park has been progressing beautifully, but we still have a fair way to go. Under a funding agreement that is being used to develop the Music Park, the Country Music Club has given an undertaking to hold a number of events and activities in the park. The committee of the Country Music Club wish to make it clear that this is YOUR Music Park, and is for everyone to use. Therefore we would much appreciated you putting your hand up to help.

Activities planned for the Park area in 2008 include :
A Youth Event
A Variety Night
Christmas Carols
Twilight Markets
and many others are in the 'thinking pot'.

There have been many other suggestions for events.
Dog Training, Family Reunions, Australia Day activities, Billy and Damper Tea Days.

The first event was held on Sunday, 9th April 2007.
A Community Thanks Giving Service for volunteers, which was supported by about 100 locals,
and there have been several monthly Sunday markets, which are growing in popularity.

If you have any suggestions for events or can lend a hand to help stage activities please contact Daly Winter on 9765 1657. Show your support for all those people who give up their personal time to support you and your family. Join us and help us create an exciting new community area.
