Country Music Club of Boyup Brook commended

04-Jan-2012

Country Arts WA congratulated the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook for providing a full annual program of arts events. The panel commended the Club for their community consultation and has been successful with the Annual Vital Funding program. Peak organisations, like the Country Music Club play a vital role in the areas of advocacy, capacity building, communications and support.

The Country Music Club of Boyup Brook will be providing a new and innovative program of activities for 2012 to celebrate and bring together the arts and new partnerships. It will provide the opportunity to explore new ideas and help to build a strong community. Participants will engage in dynamic, thought provoking and empowering activities and will facilitate networking opportunities. This includes strengthening the art exhibition with indigenous artists and storytelling by Josie Boyle and visual art exhibition by emerging artist Ken Farmer. A youth stage will provide a venue for young people to entertain the crowds or gather participation and engage in their project. These projects will support the presentation and promotion, encourage expression and exploration of new work, while supporting professional facilitators to demonstrate and teach skills to take back their individual regions. We have highly skilled professionals organised to provide workshops in music, art and poetry.

“This project has been financially supported by Country Arts WA”
