If you have what it takes to be a part of the Boyup Ute & Truck Muster for 2012 then download an entry form and see if the judges agree with you! Your entry fee gives you a Saturday Festival Ticket to see Beccy Cole, Sara Storer and Gina Jeffreys and many more artists at the Music Park, participation in the parade and entry to the Muster area.

Registrations will take place at the Railway Yard from 9 o’clock Saturday morning. Information will be available at the Railway Yard when completing your registration for the parade. They will have heaps of information about the Muster and Festival and our friendly volunteers will be able to help and guide you with any queries.

The Utes and Trucks will parade through town to the cheers of the crowds at 11 o’clock and then make their way in convoy style to the Muster area near the Music Park where vehicles will be judged and winners announced later in the day. There will be some fun activities including the Bucking Bull ride.

Muster registration 0900 hrs at the Railway Yard Muster Parade through town 1100 hrs from the Railway Yard Judging will take place at the Muster area in the afternoon

The Music Park is a licensed venue so NO BYO alcohol or glass is allowed. No animals will be permitted into the venue. Vehicles will be checked on entry by Security and any of these items will be confiscated. No household furniture allowed into the muster area- in particular lounges/couches. These will be confiscated at the entry gate and a refuse disposal fee will apply.

Over the weekend we will be handing out feedback forms. We would appreciate it if you can take the time to complete because this will help to make the event better.

There are no EFTPOS cash out facilities at the Music Park. There is a Commonwealth Bank ATM on the main street in town or Westpac facilities available during business hours at the Community Resource Centre.

This is a licensed event. Juveniles (persons under 18 years) must be accompanied and supervised at the event by their parent/step-parent or legal guardian at all times.

Proof of ID must be provided upon entry to the licensed area.

We encourage responsible drinking and driving.

Sunscreen will be freely available.

No throwing of objects from the rear of utes during the parade.

Lost property can be handed to the Muster volunteers at the registration desk

As part of your entry fee you are permitted to sleep in the back of your ute or sleeper cab on Saturday night in the Muster area at the Music Park, however no tents will be allowed. Other camping is available in designated areas around town. Please contact the Community Resource Centre on (08)97651169 to book a camp site as move on notices may be issued by the local Police for illegal camping.

Even if you don’t own a ute or truck you can come along and take a look at some ute and truck owners striking artwork, their dedication and passion for their vehicles.

ON SITE CAMPING AT THE MUSIC PARK

There is a defined area for Ute & Truck campers.
Only utes and trucks are permitted in this area.
No trailers or caravans allowed.
Toilets are available in the immediate area.
Showers are available right next door at the swimming pool for the cost of entry to the swimming pool.
The area is to remain clean and tidy .

OTHER CAMPING AREAS

There are numerous other camping areas around the town. For the Caravan Park please phone the Boyup Brook Shire (08)97651200. For all other designated camping areas please call the Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre. (08)97651169. These include:

  • St Mary’s Primary School
  • Golf Club
  • Tennis Club
  • Football Club
  • Dinninup Show Grounds
Showers and toilets are on site at all of these locations Some of these venues are within walking distance and others are a small drive out of town. We do request that people who camp within the Ute Muster area respect their neighbours. Please abstain from disorderly behaviour, swearing and loud noise.

RUBBISH

Please help us to look after the environment and also our hard working volunteers by keeping your area clean and tidy. Vehicles entering the Muster area will be given a rubbish bag to keep their area clean and rubbish bins are provided within the grounds.

FIRST AID

The local volunteer St John Ambulance will be in attendance at different times throughout the event at the Music Park. In the event of an emergency or accident please call 000 for assistance.

MERCHANDISE

There will be a Merchandise Tent located near the main stage. There will be a variety of merchandise including RM Williams, Thomas Cook and Wrangler. Please take the time to have a look.

DISABLED ACCESS

The Festival and Muster caters for disabled persons so please don’t feel restricted. Come along and enjoy yourself. The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is a proud member of the Companion Card Association.

CATERING

There will be a variety of choice food stalls within the Music Park. A Bush Poets breakfast is catered for on Sunday morning so we encourage you to purchase your breakfast from a local community group before driving. You may even find you enjoy a good laugh with some of the Bush Poets!

ENTERTAINMENT

Some of Australia’s best performing country artists will be performing over the weekend. Friday night will showcase special guest Gina Jeffreys live on stage as well as some of Western Australia’s best new talent. Saturday night you will see a fantastic showcase of Australia’s best three female acts –Beccy Cole, Sara Storer and Gina Jeffreys or commonly known as the Songbirds as well as other state, local and national guests. And on Sunday you will see Beccy Cole and Sara Storer perform at their individual best.
