Chad Woods is a singer songwriter who’s been around the country music scene for over 20 years. Born into a country music family, travelling to different venues to see music bands was a part of life. After teaching himself to play rhythm and lead guitar, Chad joined his parents’ country music band in 1999. Chad has won numerous awards for his singing, including Male Vocalist of the Year in 2001 and 2005 at the Boyup Brook Country Music Awards.
After life taking a different direction for a few years with family commitments, Chad has rekindled his love for music and has released his first album, Life Goes On, which he recorded and produced himself. Chad is already working on his second album, to be completed before the 2019 Festival.
“I’m honoured to be a part of the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival again, looking forward to entertaining my old friends and making new ones. Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is very close to my heart, it’s where it all began for me and I have made lifelong friendships over the years. I have finally come to the conclusion that music is my life and it is what I was born to do. Thank you for having me there in 2019…”
