‘Cobber’ – Keith Lethbridge Snr – lives in Armadale WA and has a campsite at Dinninup, in the shire of Boyup Brook. Bush Poetry, music and walking through all parts of the state have been his favourite hobbies for many years. Family and friends are his spiritual contentment and joy. Quietly spoken and quietly modest, Keith knows how to tell a yarn or two. His interest was sparked in school, reading the likes of Lawson, Paterson and Ogilvie.

Having lived and worked most of his life in the Kimberley’s, much of Cobber’s poetry draws on people and situations from that frontier of Australian rural life. Keith has published six books and not only does he excel at both writing and performing Bush Poetry, but he can play the harmonica, piano accordion, the ‘bones’ as well as almost any gum leaf that is put in front of him.
