Jetty Road’s eagerly anticipated sixth studio album has arrived. And with 2020 marking their 15 years together as a band, an impressive figure in any industry, Jetty Road has become one of Australia’s most enduring and respected country acts. They have had many Top 30 hits on Australian country radio and Country Music Channel, but more notably they've hit the coveted No.1 position no less than eight times on country radio and have had the #1 spot seven times on Country Music Channel. Along with strong chart success, Jetty Road has won many awards including two CMAA Awards (Golden Guitars).
The new album Because We Can embraces the theme of renewal and celebration. And with good reason. Since their last album release, Lee, Paula and Julian have started families. “After the intensity of our last album and since having children, we feel it’s time to celebrate” Paula said. “Life is short. There’s no use sweating the small stuff”. Recorded at Sydney’s renowned Love Hz Studios under the helm of producer Michael Carpenter, they’ve been able to capture their distinctive vocal and musical sound with an added rejuvenation.
“We have fond memories of performing at Boyup Brook CMF over 10 years ago so we are absolutely thrilled to be returning!”
