Take to the sky using virtual reality on board the RAC Rescue Experience

RAC provides trusted and valuable services to enhance the lifestyles of Western Australians and RAC is pleased to again support the 2017 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and to bring the RAC Rescue Experience to the State’s South West.

The RAC Rescue Experience will provide festival goers with a unique insight into the incredible work the emergency rescue crew do on board the RAC Rescue helicopters, which are managed by the Department of Fire and Emergency Service (DFES).

Using virtual reality technology, you can now take to the sky for a four minute, 360 degree rescue mission experience with the State's only 24/7 emergency rescue helicopter service. From taking flight through to the patient being transferred to hospital – you’ll be there every step of the way.

RAC has proudly sponsored the RAC Rescue helicopters since 2003. Since then, more than 5000 rescue missions have been flown.

More than two thirds of RAC Rescue missions are in response to road trauma. Please look after your friends and family; wear your seatbelt, nominate a skipper and take regular breaks.

We want all festival goers to have a great time and stay safe on our roads.
