The Country Music Club of Boyup Brook has been supported by Lotterywest with funding for the 33rd celebrations for the Street Carnival and the free components of the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter.
The Lotterywest Street Carnival offers a swag of stimulating and colourful entertainment including Out of the Box Community Events who provide numerous old fashioned games for the kids, The Enchanted Stilt Walkers, are a bubble of friendly personality that will bring a huge smile and much laughter with an array of magnificent handmade costumes. There is Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Bouncy Castles, and GWN7’s Doopa Dog to keep the kiddies entertained.
There are many buskers and entertainment in the mix to add to the atmosphere.
Support funding like this allows our country life and culture to be enriched and offers a range of opportunities that support artists in Western Australia. It's free, spontaneous, and everybody's welcome to participate! On Saturday the 17th February, the town centre will be alive with activity. It’s a day of cheerful entertainment, with a huge line up of attractions planned to keep all ages smiling.
The Street Carnival is a dynamic event that transforms inner Boyup Brook into an explosion of epic proportions, combining music, art installations, roving performers and artisan markets. There will be buskers, bands and entertainment galore.
The Art Awards and Exhibition will be showcased in the Town Hall with numerous categories and great prizes on offer.
The Boyup Ute & Truck parade will commence at 11am and parade through the streets with a dazzling procession.- all bright, colourful and shiny!
