Join in the fun of the street carnival at WA’s biggest country music festival

What do Australia’s number one whip-cracking entertainer Nathan ‘Whippy’ Griggs, world champion spoon player Deb ‘Spoons’ Perry and Australian songstress Julie Kember have in common?

They are all performing at the Lotterywest Street Carnival being held as part of this year’s Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter.

On Saturday February 16, buskers and street performers will turn the streets of Boyup Brook into a stage during a lively morning of entertainment designed to delight people of all ages.

From markets to children’s activities, there will be something for everyone to enjoy whether you want to see a stilt walker in action, develop your circus skills, or try your hand at umbrella art.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy the spectacle of seeing utes, trucks, tractors and vintage cars roll into town for the Ute and Truck Muster Parade.

Then it will be time to settle in for the afternoon and evening at the Music Park where the official opening and performances from a range of country music stars including headliner Beccy Cole will take place.

The 34th annual music and camping festival will be held between February 15 and 17, and incorporate a street carnival with buskers and street performers, workshops, and bush poets breakfast.
