Country music fans to be encouraged to LiveLighter for another two years

BOYUP BROOK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and Healthway have announced an extension to their long-running partnership that will ensure the LiveLighter message will be promoted to attendees at the next two events.

The partnership means fans attending the Festival, along with the West Australian Country Music Awards and Art Trail Activation, will be encouraged to live healthier lives by making changes to what they eat and drink, and being more active.

Healthway Chief Executive Officer Susan Hunt PSM said the 25-year partnership with the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook has helped promote good nutrition and healthy lifestyle messages to thousands of West Australians.

“The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter, has become a vibrant community event showcasing country music in Western Australia, and I encourage everyone to enjoy these talented musicians with family and friends,” Ms Hunt said.

Festival Music Director Sharon Winter said it was terrific to have this partner on board as the volunteer-run festival prepared to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

“It really sets a buzz through our entire team and everyone associated to know that we are supported in our endeavours,” Ms Winter said.

“The Club and Festival have a proud tradition of promoting healthy food options and lifestyles, and also have a positive impact within the community.”

The 2020 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, incorporating the West Australian Country Music Awards, will take place between February 13 and 16 2020.
