Updated: Dec 3, 2021

BOYUP BROOK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – It is time to dust off your boots, put on your hat and start planning a trip to Boyup Brook – Western Australia’s premier country music festival is making a comeback in February. After cancelling this year’s event due to the COVID-19 pandemic The Boyup Brook Country Music Club has announced the line-up for the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter on February 18 to 20, 2022.

The festival takes place in the township of Boyup Brook, with the music performed at the purpose built stage in Music Park, a charming family-friendly venue, with mature river gums over the gently sloping grass. Located in the South West, some 270 kilometres from Perth, this fun-filled music festival caters to all country music fans from around the state and further afield. The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is one of Australia’s top Country music festival, and one of the longest running music festivals in the nation.

This year’s music festival line-up is like no other, bringing something special and unique, catering to country music lovers across all genres. With more than 50 local WA artists and bands on the bill, highlight names include Codee-Lee, The Little Lord Street Band, Desert Road, Kate Hindle, Connie Kis Andersen and JoKeria.

“We are thrilled to have the country music festival back after 2 years of COVID troubles,” says the Town President Richard Walker. “This event means a lot to the people of our town, as it allows everyone to get involved and come together as a community for a single purpose.”

Even the town’s most well-respected baker and coffee maker, Barbara from the Boyup Brook Treehouse Coffee Lounge is thrilled about the event returning to Boyup Brook for the 35th Year. As she says, “It’s an exciting time for the community, it gives us an opportunity to showcase our talents to the visitors coming from all across WA.

A real treat will be Peter Busher and the Lone Rangers featuring Lucky Oceans, while for the kids the Street Carnival with the Northam Highland Dancers will be a favourite (for the adults too). For the older heads, the likes of Magnificent 7 provide plenty of variety for the ultimate music milkshake.

“An important step in the journey towards February has been realised today with the start of the event line up going live," event organisers said.

"We're very excited to share our 2022 line-up with you. We're extremely proud of this fine bunch of artists and we thank them for believing in us and committing to joining our little party in Boyup Brook next February. "It's one of the largest line-ups of West Australian music talent that we've released in a long time, and it reflects an amazing and diverse bunch of established and emerging artists. "Your support in purchasing a ticket to this year's event means the world to us, and to everyone who works in our struggling arts and events industries, from the artists themselves to the stage and sound crew, the food trucks and of course the Boyup Brook township. "We look forward to seeing you all in Boyup Brook next February ."

Tickets are already 25 per cent sold and are available to purchase as single day passes and as the full three-day weekend passes. Boyup Brook Country Music Festival takes place at 18-20 February.
