West Australian Country Music Awards presented by LiveLighter Goes Virtual


BOYUP BROOK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA - The Country Music Club of Boyup Brook WA Inc. is very excited to announce that the 2022 West Australian Country Music Awards presented by LiveLighter will now proceed and will be showcased live on Saturday 11 June, 2022 to thousands of country music enthusiasts.


“We are thrilled to be able to present the West Australian Country Music Awards online for the first time in the history of the event. The Club is especially proud to pay tribute to recognise the extraordinary achievements of West Australian country music artists, in the trying times,” said Jason Forsyth, Club President.


A total of 10 categories offers the finalists the chance to earn a place at the pinnacle of country music in WA and will be announced on the night. Categories include, best group/duo, male artist and female artist, best single, EP, album, video clip, songwriter, emerging artist and junior vocalist.

Healthway and Lotterywest Chief Executive Officer Ralph Addis said that Healthway is proud to partner with the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook through LiveLighter to present the virtual 2022 West Australian Country Music Awards.


“Through our partnership, we can connect with artists and audiences virtually to promote healthy lifestyles and celebrate the achievements of our talented country musicians,” Mr. Addis said.


Club Music Director, Sharon Winter said, “We are excited the awards will be presented and we are able to carry on our proud tradition of celebrating the very best on the WA country music scene. We invite fans to show their appreciation for their favourite awards finalist, by voting for them in our popular category of ‘People’s Choice’ award.”
