One of Australia’s favourite country music artists, Beccy Cole, will return to Western Australia fresh from her Golden Guitar win in Tamworth for Female Artist of the Year. Beccy is set to delight audiences at this year’s Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter, taking place between February 15 and 17.
“I’m so excited to be performing at the 2019 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival,” she said.
“This festival is set in one of the most beautiful places in Australia and has a true country music good time feel.
“I can’t wait to get to WA for this great festival.”
The 11-time Golden Guitar winner, who has multiple ARIA Top 10 country and Top 40 mainstream albums to her name, will headline the event on the back of her new album, Lioness.
A collection of self-penned, personal and poignant songs, the album sees Cole with a new sound, a new band and a new outlook on life beyond 40.
In an Australian first, Beccy procured the talents of some of Australia’s finest female musicians to make the only ever 100 per cent female produced album.
Lioness follows the 2017 release, The Great Country Songbook Volume 2, with good mate, Adam Harvey.
Catch headliner Cole at the 34th annual Boyup Brook Country Music Festival, presented by LiveLighter. The event takes place between February 15 and 17, and incorporates a ute and truck muster, and bush poets breakfast.
Tickets are now on sale through the official event website − www.countrymusicwa.com.au .
